Are you considering returning to a less amplified and simpler sound in your future work? I was at a show of yours in San Francisco a year or so ago, and the sheer (incredibly lour) volume and much-less-acoustic, more electric sound you and your band played with was really a surprise.

Every record sounds different. I'm sorry my last albuim and show was too rocking for you. I think this new album is more soul and r&b and electronic influenced, so the shows won't be as raw... There is one real rock song on the record but on the whole it's more chill.
When will you play next in the northwest?
Sharon Van Etten responded on 02/07/2014 Next questionI met you at the show you played with Nick Cave in Boston last year. You were so great and so nice. I was already a big fan so it was a thrill for me, especially seeing you sing background in the Bad Seeds. You said I reminded you of your brother. I have since pursued my own career in music and this week released my first album on a small label under the name Michael and the Wild Roses. It would be a dream come true if I could open for you for part of your upcoming tour or even just one date. Any chance this could happen? Thanks for the music.
